We daren't look beyond the reflections
As they show the unseen
They show our imperfections
Whoever was brave enough
To look and be satisfied
To look on their reflection
And feel so much pride
Unique is the person,
So many are blessed
That beauty was given as a gift
So beautiful they get obsessed
Mirrors can often tell lies
To spare you the humiliation
To get your hopes high
To save you from desperation
Shattering the image
Will ease a heavy burden
Thousands of pieces erasing the flaws
Making that fate undone
Give up on preventing
Yourself from seeing that image again
The world if full of mirrors
Your determination is in vain
